Application Developer (Front End- Web)

ECS is seeking an Application Developer (Front End- Web) to work in our Washington, DC office.

Job Description:

ECS Federal is seeking an Application Developer (Front End Web) to support implementation of an enterprise content management system for our Federal customer.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

You will participate in all phases of the software development life cycle, including requirements analysis, architecture, design, development, testing, deployment, and operations support.
You will have ability to work with a small team of developers in the construction and deployment of incremental, high-quality, high-value releases.
As a Senior Engineer, you will clearly communicate architectural vision, decisions, designs, risks, problems, and technical details to client stakeholders and team members.

Required Skills:

• US Citizen and must be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related IT  field
• 8+ years of hands-on experience in large-scale enterprise application development and deployment using Java/JavaScript technologies.
• Extensive experience with one or more technologies - XML, XSLT, JQuery, REST APIs and JavaScript.
• Demonstrate strong troubleshooting skills to solve complex software problems.

Desired Skills:

• Experience in plugin architecture
• Experience with XML usage in Java applications preferred
• Experience with XML Editors
• Automated Testing/Selenium experience
