The Operations Analysis and Simulation Department within SADID has a charter to conduct analyses andsupport programs across the IDS portfolio, including surface Navy, undersea Navy, missile defense sensors, interceptors, command and control, integrated air and missile defense systems and space surveillance systems.The work is classified and the candidate must have at least a DoD SECRET clearance.

Responsibilities:
The AN/TPY-2 Digital Simulation Engineer will be a member of the team that is responsible for the development, test, and deliveries of the AN/TPY-2 radar digital simulation. Primary responsibilities will be development, debug and unit testing of C++ source code. Ability to interface with the radar algorithm developers and software developers, to insure correct implementation of new algorithms into the simulation.

Required Skills:

  • Experience working with C++ software development
  • Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with System / Software Integration and Test activities.
  • Experience with Software Baseline Control Management processes/procedures.
  • Strong verbal/written communication skills.
  • Active SECRET Security Clearance
  • BS Computer Science, Math, Physics, or related engineering field.

Desired Skills:
  • Experience with radar system concepts; detection, discrimination, track and signal processing algorithms and their behaviors and performance
  • Ability to organize, multi-task and prioritize tasks in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
  • Knowledge and experience in Agile development and continuous integration.
