Key Role:
Apply experience as an airborne maintenance technician (AMT) instructor to train aircrew members onboard EC-130 variant platforms. Prepare and deliver courses of instruction, evaluate training, and develop training to meet current and evolving needs. Develop and provide position and mission training to AMT trainees and provide input for training activities for other positions. Act as a coordinator for, provide input to, and direct the action for training simulations both airborne and on the ground. Maintain and update training records and reports for the unit's programmed flight training tracking metric. This position is located in Tucson, AZ.
Basic Qualifications:
-4+ years of experience as an Air Force AMT
-2+ years of experience as an EC-130H AMT instructor
-Ability to perform airborne training activities
-Ability to pass and maintain a FAA Class 3 examination required
-TS/SCI clearance
-HS diploma or GED
-Airborne Instructor Qualification
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience as a Standardization and Evaluation (STAN/EVAL) examiner
-Experience with the current EC-130H mission system configuration
-Experience with formal training unit processes
-Experience with AF information
-Experience with 1,500+ flying hours and 300+ instructor flying hours
-AMT EC-130H Aircraft or EC-130H Instructor Qualification
