Air Defense Analyst

Applied Research Associates, Inc. (ARA) seeks an Air Defense Analyst to provide critical oversight of training on predictive and forensic analysis of adversary lethal and non-lethal Air Defense systems, including command and control, air surveillance and early warning, battle management, surface-to-air missile systems, air defense artillery, electronic warfare, and denial and deception. The candidate shall leverage all formal and informal analytic exchanges, as well as training opportunities, in order to foster peer-to-peer collaboration, ensure thorough vetting of products, and deliberately pursue/maintain acuity on essential elements of tradecraft. The Air Defense Analyst will also need to maintain specialized intelligence and operations community accesses pertinent to their functional area, in order to enhance situational awareness and planning support. Regular coordination/collaboration with the following entities is critical to mission success: the National Command Authority; National, International, and Service Intelligence Centers; Combatant Commands, Air Components, and Wing Intelligence.

To be successful in this role, the Air Defense Analyst should work well in a team environment and with minimal supervision, possess excellent analytical and problem solving skills, be very detail oriented and have the ability to use Microsoft Office.

This position requires travel up to 25% of the time, including international travel.

Security Clearance Requirements

  • Current and active TS/SCI with polygraph

Required Experience

  •  5-7 years of Intel Analysis experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline

Desired Experience

  • Proficient with research/analysis tools
