Advanced Logistics Analyst

Description

SAIC is looking for highly motivated individuals to fill a Senior Logistics Program Analyst Support position. The primary responsibility is support to the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Logistics Directorate in the development and execution of logistics policy with an emphasis on property management.


Responsibilities include:

  • Support the development, management and execution of logistics policy within the MDA Logistics Directorate.
  • Work directly with government customers in the Central Property Office and throughout the Agency to assure that all guidelines, requirements and documentation are met in accordance with the MDA and DoD policy.
  • Support the MDA Government Component Property Lead (CPL) in ensuring directives are effectively developed and efficiently applied
  • Represent the CPL in meetings and discussions within the MDA as well as with industry partners.
  • Prepare reports documenting progress.
  • Develop and submit metrics supporting the execution of assigned tasks in property management and fleet management.
  • Be knowledgeable of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR), Defense FAR, and Executive Orders for changes to documentation.
  • Develop briefings as appropriate or as directed to provide status or seek additional guidance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics and Transportation or related field 

  • 10 years Lifecycle logistics experience
  • Must possess and maintain an active Secret Clearance
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access)
  • Expert ability to develop life cycle logistics policies, plans, procedures and documents
  • Ability to independently develop and present briefings to MDA senior leaders
  • Working knowledge of continuous process improvement; contract management; acquisition, planning, funding, and management information systems.

Desired Qualifications

 

  • Property management / supply support experience
  • 5 years of that experience working with senior government leadership.
  • Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Life Cycle Logistics and/or Program Management Professional Certification (PMP)
  • Ability to work multiple projects/tasks for different managers
