Administrative Assistant

Description

SAIC is seeking to hire a full-time and permanent Administrative Assistant to help us support a US Navy Customer in Panama City, Florida.    

 

Job Duties:

  • Responsible for compiling, proofing and editing of various operating procedures and other documentation, maintaining a library of current and historical documents; track certifications and provide routine and non-routine general administrative support to include but not limited to:
    • Provide weekly meeting minutes and Action Item reports
    • Compile Weekly & Monthly Report information
    • Assist with Quality documentation
    • Manage Travel/Leave schedules
    • Start/Complete Workflow Processes
    • Create/Update documents as required.

Qualifications

Required Education and Experience

  • Completed High School/GED and 2 years or more related experience.

  • US Citizen with the ability to obtain an Interim DOD Secret clearance within 60 days of hire date.  Must be able to obtain a completed DOD Secret clearance within 12 months of hire date.  Active DoD clearances accepted.

  • 2+ years of administrative assistant experience

  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office tools – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Professional

  • Strong planning, organizing, coordinating, problem solving skills; ability to work with limited supervision.

  • Excellent communications skills (both speaking and writing)

  • Proficiency with the preparation of both business and technical presentations

  • Ability to edit and revise documents to meet required formats and style
