CWU, Inc. is seeking (2) Two full-time OCONUS Admin / Payroll Clerks to provide clerical support services to the U.S. Government.

The Payroll Clerk is responsible for semi-monthly payroll processing for all employees on the task order.  This individual is also responsible for auditing of payroll, as well as ensuring compliance with all applicable local, state and federal regulations.

  • Audit and reconcile a wide range of personnel actions and payroll documents for more than 500 employees.
  • Approve time records, verify available time for time off request
  • Input employee data (new hires, changes, additional earnings) into the payroll system.
  • Process employee Time & Attendance data from the Deltek to Preview/Flex and reconcile variances utilizing tools in the Time and payroll systems.
  • Cross train team members in your specific area of expertise.
  • Develop in depth understanding of Payroll Database to be able to create Ad-Hoc reports on demand.
  • Process accurately employee compensation.
  • Recommend and implement changes proactively regarding payroll and tax procedures
  • Distribute checks to onsite employees.
  • Transmit semi-monthly payroll to the Payroll Manager.
  • Assist employees in registering for or resetting access to online pay stubs.
  • Provide customer service to employees: in the area of compensation, benefits and taxes, entering time off/worked, location of employee forms and information, where to send completed forms, who to contact for benefit questions and how to obtain IRS instructions on withholding issues.
  • Post updates for changes to employee information.
  • At least 3 years of Payroll/Accounting experience with 2 years of Paychex Preview Payroll experience
  • Attention to detail is a must!
  • Must be able to work under tight deadlines.
  • Should be able to deal with difficult, sensitive and confidential issue.
  • Candidate should possess an overall understanding of accounting, exposure to management reporting systems.
  • The applicant should have strong organizational, time management and prioritization abilities.


  • A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or a Bachelor’s degree in business with emphasis in accounting is preferred. Degree(s) must be from an accredited college or university
  • Secret Security Clearance Preferred
