Key Role:
Support a Navy acquisition client in managing its system portfolio by applying knowledge of the DoD acquisition frameworks. Assist the client with developing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, developing and reviewing documentation, and providing defense systems acquisition expertise. Support the Navy client in systems acquisition program and acquisition management planning. Prepare milestone or decision briefs to convey program plans to stakeholders. Advise on program status, schedule, and risk.
Basic Qualifications:
-8+ years of experience with DoD acquisition management
-Experience in working with senior government staff at the program executive officer (PEO) or Project Manager (PM) level
-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite
-Experience with leading business development activities
-Knowledge of the DoD 5000 series instructions
-TS/SCI clearance
-BA or BS degree
-PMP or DAWIA PM Level III Certifications
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with ACAT 1 programs
-Experience with rapid acquisition
-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
Clearance:
