Acquisition Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Work with Booz Allen colleagues and government clients from various DoD and government agencies to analyze, architect, integrate and plan Global Positioning System (GPS) projects. Help the Air Force integrate the GPS across a large stakeholder community and manage technical projects, including performance, cost, schedule, and risk. Lead a team of Booz Allen and subcontractor teammates in analyzing acquisition strategies and program plans to build the next generation range of the future. Analyze operational requirements, external interfaces, integration plans and schedules, cost estimates, and technology roadmaps. Leverage subject matter expertise for Air Force decision makers and help identify and resolve programmatic and funding risks and issues. Track and manage project execution to plan, make recommendations to senior DoD clients, and work with government and corporate stakeholders to implement recommended solutions. Support technical proposals and business development initiatives.

​Basic Qualifications:

​-7+ years of experience with DoD acquisition planning, program management, and systems engineering

​-Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

​-Active Secret clearance

​-BA or BS degree

​Additional Qualifications:

​-Experience with DoD acquisition systems

​-Experience with project management and leadership

​-Experience with developing acquisition strategies, program plans, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), and technical evaluations

​-Ability to comprehend cost, schedule, and risk

​-Ability to comprehend government contracts and reporting systems used to extract data and analyze future performance trends

​-Ability to interface with internal and external customers

​-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

​-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills

​-MA or MS degree preferred

​-Professional Development Program (APDP) Program Management Level II Certification
