Acquisition Analyst and Technical Writer, Junior

Key Role:

Support an acquisition role by managing its system portfolio, including applying comprehension of DoD 5000 series acquisition frameworks. Assist the client by analyzing and evaluating acquisition strategies, performing analyses, reviewing documentation, including Requests for Proposal (RFPs) and Statements of Work (SOWs), and applying expertise in acquisitions. Perform technical writing tasks and ensure products are high quality, properly formatted, and in the right template.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with working in a DoD acquisition program office

-Experience in working with government staff at the program executive officer (PEO) or program manager (PM) level

-Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

-Experience as a technical writer

-Knowledge of the DoD 5000 acquisition framework and contracting requirements

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with a Navy program preferred

-Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
