Acoustic Warfare Intelligence Instructor/Analyst AAAT DARTS FL

Position Description

Essential Job Duties:

The Acoustic Warfare Intelligence Instructor/Analyst Contract Instructor (AWI/ACI) reports directly to the Assistant Site Manager. The AWI/ACI's specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to:

-Provides onsite training for the AWO'S assigned to the TacMobile units.

-Advanced All-Sensor Analysis Training (AAAT) currently addresses TacMobile analyst development utilizing technically skilled analysts to train students on equipment and techniques used for processing, analyzing, and interpreting of acoustic intelligence (ACINT).

-The TacMobile program supports TacMobile Acoustic Support System (TacMASS), MARS GMR overlay, Passive Acoustic Analysis System (PAAS) windows version (WINPAAS), Imagery Exploitation software, and acoustic database development and management using Government-provided computers and TacMobile Program of Record (POR) assets.

- Evaluate AWO aircrew training/mission performance as required.

- Fully utilize/employ all Government Furnished Training devices/scenarios in training AW personnel.

- Conduct classroom instruction /sessions as assigned

- Evaluate and record trainer device performance in accordance with established criteria.

- Maintain, assess and recommend improvements to mission scenarios for effectiveness and currency.

- Review curriculum, assess and recommend improvements to the training program via the appropriate training management officials.

- Conduct all other duties as directed/assigned in the SOW/contract.

- Ability to work any shift, weekends and travel as required by the contract.

- Perform other duties as assigned by Site Management.

Position Requirements

Mental/Physical Requirements:

- Requires mental alertness and be able to read, write, speak and understand English fluently.

- Physical ability to walk/stand and sit for extended periods of time while working a keyboard, mouse and computer screen.

- Be able to climb 2 flight of stairs

- The ability to lift and carry 50 pounds is required.

-Ability to interface and function within and with all levels of Military, GS and Civilian personnel.

- Must present a professional appearance in demeanor and dress at all times.

 

Minimum Job Requirements (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities):

The Acoustic Warfare Intelligence Instructor/ Analyst must demonstrate the ability to operate and instruct in the applicable VP equipment/trainers required on current Contract.

- U.S. Navy AW "A" School or other formal gram analysis, image analysis, signal analysis course, at least three (3) years of TSC/MOCC or TOC/MTOC experience or combination thereof i.e., NECs (Note: new NECs are G04A/G06A/G07A/G08A/G09A/712B),

- Be capable of performing all the technical instruction duties as an AAAT Contract Instructor,

- Be capable of addressing current training requirements of AAAT at Fleet TOC/MTOC sites and be capable of adapting courseware and instruction in these areas as new/updated TOC/MTOC analysis and display systems are introduced,

- Demonstrate the ability to gather intelligence information by field observation, classified information sources, or public records,

- Demonstrate ability to operate and instruct TacMASS equipment using environmental, passive, active, and multi-statics processing formats for surface, subsurface, and environmental signatures,

- Demonstrate ability to operate and instruct MARS GMR software to support post mission analysis replay and messaging,

- Demonstrate ability to instruct Target Motion Analysis (TMA) and tree method of analysis to support post mission reconstruction and signature recognition and validation,

- Demonstrate ability to analyze and interpret acoustic data to develop post mission Naval messaging to support Navy Fleet operations,

- Demonstrate the ability to validate known intelligence with data from other sources. Highly proficient in the data processing, analysis and classification of acoustic, active and multi-static data,

- Demonstrate the ability to research classified documents and databases to support training objectives,

- Demonstrate the ability to gather, analyze, correlate, or evaluate information from a variety of robust multi-sensor target characteristics databases,

- Proficient in utilization of Microsoft Office software (Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.) to generate reports, documents, databases and presentations,

- Proficient knowledge in graphic design programs, to include Adobe: Publisher, Photoshop & Illustrator, Corel: Photo Paint & Draw, Macromedia: Authorware, Dreamweaver & Flash, GIF Animation & Captivate, and Sony Acid Pro (Audio Devel.) (Redbird Trident II SCORM IDE preferred also),

- Proficient in the use of U.S. Navy 110A/130 and Advanced Distributed Learning (ADL) SCORM training lesson standards and requirements. SCORM -- compliant capability required for continued/future AAAT COI Research & Development,

- Ability to assist with the Site Classified Control System and the control of all classified materials with the local Security Manager,

- Ability to research, develop, maintain, update and expand/or contribute to the AAAT -oriented Web Site, databases and assist in the development of the Interactive Training (IAT) courseware module.

- The applicant must be a US Citizen, possess the ability to obtain a US Passport and have and maintain a valid driver's license.

- Applicant will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to receive and maintain a TOP SECRET clearance.
