Location: Alexandria, VA

Shift: Days M-F 

Required Security Clearance: TS

Required Certifications: DoD IAT Level III and DoD CSSP Infrastructure Support

Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in technology or the sciences, additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Required Experience:

  •  3+  years of Certification and Accreditation (C&A) experience, ideally on DoD IT Systems. 

·     DoD Experience with 2 or more years working with Tenable ACAS and Nessus Agent.

  •  Designs and develops new systems, applications, and solutions for external customer’s enterprise-wide cyber systems and networks.​

Description:   

The Joint Service Provider (JSP) program provides a full range of information technology products, services, solutions and customer support to the Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD), the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff (CJCS) and the Joint Staff (JS), the Director of Administration (DA), the Pentagon Force Protection Agency (PFPA), the Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) and other various OSD offices to meet mission and business requirements. 

Through the accomplishments of the DCO IDM program (formerly known as the Computer Network Defense (CND) Program), JSP performs a wide variety of cybersecurity services and functions required to assure the operational, physical, and information security posture for Department of Defense (DOD) Services within CONUS and OCONUS. 

The scopes of the DCO IDM tasks are functionally grouped by EndPoint Security, Network Security, and Incident Handling.  The Endpoint Security team schedule is M-F 0600-1800 with on-call requirements.

Functional Responsibility:

The Senior Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) Analyst – Mid will:

·         Provide ad hoc support for Certification and Accreditation activities on DoD IT Systems as well as managing the C&A requirements for government IT systems embedded in the contractor facility.  

·         Recommend appropriate impact level designations and identify appropriate security controls based on characterization of the general support system or major application.  

·         Integrate with a team of skilled information technology professionals. 

·         Need the ability to troubleshoot issues with performing scans, reports and/or seeing results.

Qualifications:

       ·         Demonstrated experience with Tenable ACAS.

·         Demonstrated experience with Tenable Nessus Agent.

·         Demonstrated experience with multiple network security zones, subnetting, VRFs, and VLANs.

Preferences:

·         DoD Experience

Working Conditions:

Work is typically based in a busy office environment and subject to frequent interruptions. Business work hours are normally set from Monday through Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm, however some extended or weekend hours may be required. Additional details on the precise hours will be informed to the candidate from the Program Manager/Hiring Manager.

Physical Requirements:

May be required to lift and carry items weighting up to 25 lbs. Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, squatting, stretching and bending throughout the work day.

Background Screening/Check/Investigation:

Successful Completion of a Background Screening/Check/Investigation will be required as a condition of hire.
