Job Description:

The candidate shall provide services in the area of instruction, curriculum development, scenario development and training to support the development, execution and sustainment of training in all phases and modules of the All-Source Intelligence Analyst (35F) course at Fort Huachuca (FH) and the United States Army Intelligence Center of Excellence (USAICoE). These services will be provided to the intelligence personnel of the Active Army, Army Reserve, and Army National Guard as well as to Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, Marines, and applicable civilian personnel learning to operate in their designated Military Occupational Specialty (MOS) or Area of Concentration (AOC). Work will be performed in a classroom or field environment.

Training areas of focus may include but are not limited to the preparation of all-source intelligence products to support the combat commander; training of the process of receiving and processing incoming reports and messages; training in the Assistance of determining the significance and reliability of incoming information; training in the establishment and maintain of systematic, cross-reference intelligence records and files; training in the integrated incoming information with current intelligence holdings and prepare and maintain graphics; training to conduct IPB using information from all sources; training of intelligence support to the targeting process.

Training of briefing and writing techniques; training of Fusion of intelligence to support commander’s requirements; training in the use of automated Intelligence Information Processing Systems such as DCGS-A, ArcGIS.

The candidate will be required to fulfill duties that include the following;
  • Maintain and update courseware to ensure accuracy and relevancy of course material.
  • Provide competent and doctrinally correct training, instruction, exercise development, and student evaluations regarding roles, responsibilities, and operations relevant to the 35F course.
  • Facilitate the capstone exercise by monitoring message traffic, provide quality checks on RFIs, provide feedback to students during briefs, and provide basic white cell support.
  • Teach course POI or modifications to the POI as directed by the course Cadre.
  • Assist the training administration and development of the All Source Intelligence Analyst Course.
  • Assist in the development of courseware (e.g. lesson plans [LPs], Tests, Student Handouts, etc) based on Government doctrine and Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs).

Required Skills:
  • Must be a U.S. citizen
  • Must possess a minimum DoD Secret clearance on the first day of employment with the ability to obtain and maintain TSSCI
  • Must have honorably served in the military in MOS 35F (96B), 350F (350B), 35D or an equivalent specialty in another branch of service or other U.S. Government agency, conducting tactical all source intelligence operations for a minimum of 4 years.
  • Must possess current experience related to current Military Intelligence (MI) doctrine, recent (draft) changes and fielding of the Army Field Manuals, Army Regulations and Department of Defense (DOD) Directives relating to Intelligence Operations.
  • Must have experience working on the most recent automation tools-sets and systems applicable to 35F intelligence operations.
  • Must possess experience in the following skills: Military Map Reading, Intelligence Preparation of the Battlefield (IPB), Military Symbology, the Military Decision Making Process (MDMP), briefings, analytical writing, Targeting, and experience operating current automated Intelligence Information Processing Systems.
  • Must possess 2 years relevant and current MOS operational experience defined as working in a 35F (96B), 350F (350B), or 35D billet
  • Must have completed one applicable military course (SLC, ALC, WOBC, WOAC, MIOBC, or MICCC)
  • Must have the ability to present instructional material effectively in a classroom environment
  • Must possess excellent writing skills
  • Must be proficient with basic applications of the Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint

Desired Skills:
  • Possess a certification from the Army Basis Instructor Course (ABIC) or another service equivalent
  • Possess a certification from the Small Group Instructor Course
  • Possess an understanding of the ADDIE process
  • Possess at least 6 months of experience as an instructor in an institutional training environment

Required Education:
Bachelor’s degree is preferred; however, experience will be considered in the absence of a Bachelor’s degree.

This position requires a U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
