Leidos has an immediate opportunity for a .Net Software Developer to provide product support to the Airspace Mission Planning Division for Hanscom AFB. The position is located in Orlando, FL.
The Leidos software & systems engineering team includes engaged subject matter experts providing leadership to identify and propose solutions to their clients, peer software developers/engineers, and end users. This position will elevate skills and experiences to support our full-scope mission planning efforts. OJT is combined with annual educational opportunities to continue professional development. We are seeking a self-starter that likes taking on challenges and being a leader with software solutions; a person that collaborates well in teams and likes to work toward consensus within each team. The enterprise is embracing leading edge methodologies for Agile software development and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).
Primary Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be an experienced .NET developer that is eager to learn and comfortable working in a collaborative team environment. Proficiency in .NET C# is a must and REST API experience is strongly preferred. Core responsibilities include being part of an Agile software development team that develops web applications, REST APIs, and occasional desktop utilities to support Mission Planning needs. Development efforts include working with cloud based resources, modern technologies, and building dev ops solutions. Other general responsibilities include code reviews, unit testing, investigating/fixing bugs, version control, automated software testing, performance analysis, document creation/review, and applying the Agile software development methodology.
