Job Description
Plays an integral part in the generation of the IBPP, QBR, CSR, CPR
Develops and reviews complex financial data for inclusion in proposals, contract reviews, forecasts or variance explanations.
Plays an integral part in the generation of financial data for inclusion in indirect and forward pricing rate package submissions
Providing explanation of financial data to management and functional leaders as appropriate
Responsible for the generation and assists in the reconciliation of EVMS baselines by WBS and resulting reporting.
Assist the Project Scheduler with the creation of the IMs as it relates to work packages and costs accounts within respective areas of responsibility.
Assist in the planning and preparation for IBRs.
Ensures compliance with internal procedures and DFAR/FAR regulations.
May lead or participates in audits and interfaces with auditors to ensure understanding of financial data, methodology, and applicability under appropriate regulations.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of relevant discipline(s), industry practices, trends, and applications. Advises management on new developments and programs.
May lead the work of less senior personnel.
- Required Skills:
- Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment. Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. Good planning, time management and organization skills. Sound interpersonal skills used when interfacing, coordinating, and negotiating with Company personnel, customers, and suppliers. Ability to use computers to prepare appropriate reports and documents. Ability to make decisions using sound judgment while complying with policies, procedures, appropriate principles and applicable state and federal laws and regulations. Ability to develop/demonstrate research and presentation skills. Ability to develop and maintain professional and effective relationships with internal and external customers.
- Preferred Skills:
- Working knowledge of EVMS is a requirement. Knowledge and experience with COBRA and Open Plan is a plus and is advantageous.
