Requirements: The Intelligence Systems Business Unit of SAIC has a contingent job career opportunity for an Information Security Analyst (CISSP) in Honolulu, Hawaii.

POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will provide necessary infrastructure and management services to protect information systems from unauthorized access and to protect the data within systems. The IA position will support the command’s IA/CND program through active implementation of DOD, DA and Theater IA Program directives and policies. The IA position will implement a patch management and vulnerability mitigation program in order to ensure compliance with current Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) directives.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support the Network Operations Chief in planning, implementing, and managing a Defense In Depth for the total network and enclaves within the network including: scanning, remediation, host and network intrusion detection/prevention, firewalls, proxy servers, web cache, virus programs, vulnerability scanning, content filtering, remote dial-in protection, Host Based Security Services, and DoD Information Assurance Certification and Accreditation Program (DIACAP) , DoD Instruction 5200.40, accreditation guidance and advice IAW AR 25-2 and IA Best Business Practices.
Provide input into the installation Information Security (INFOSEC) Program and provide guidance (e.g., Information System Security Plan). Procure, install, administer, and monitor software solutions to track Internet access from government devices. Block customer access to those Internet sites that have been deemed inappropriate for use by a government owned and operated computer system. Support the installation network security USARPAC DMZ to protect installation assets, to include life cycle management of Information Assurance enclave devices and other equipment that is under full control of the USAR TSG. Maintain firewall configurations and alerts; monitor attacks; and review audit logs and detect and report malicious/unauthorized activity up the CERT. Manage the Information Assurance Vulnerability Assessment (IAVA) program to include Anti-virus protection policies, network scans, vulnerability reports, malicious activity monitoring and reporting, and password control management.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors degree and 6+ years of experience and/or in lieu of degree, 6+ years of experience
Security+
5+ years working in the IA DoD field
Strong writing and verbal skills
Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
Must be able to work independently and proactively in day to day operations and procedures.

ADDITIONAL DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CISSP / MCSE
7+ Years working in the IA DoD field
Experience with USARPAC IA/IAM a plus.
