Training Officer
Job Summary:
Serves as a training officer at the National Media Exploitation Center (NMEC), an Office of the Director of National Intelligence (ODNI); Provides training throughout the National Capitol Region and across the IC, law enforcement agencies, and military communities educating customers on NMEC IT systems and their capabilities, document and media exploitation (DOMEX) practices, and deployment training.
Principal Accountabilities:
· Builds training modules ranging from half-day blocks to courses several days in duration.
· Conducts the research necessary to develop and revise training courses and prepare appropriate training materials.
· Provides training throughout the National Capitol Region and across the IC, law enforcement agencies, and military communities educating customers on NMEC IT systems and their capabilities, document and media exploitation (DOMEX) practices, and deployment training.
· Coordinates other training requirements as deemed necessary for NMEC operations.
· Performing other duties as required.
Physical Requirements:
· Normal office environment with controlled temperature and lighting conditions.
Experience:
· Active or very recent (within past 24 months) TS/SCI security clearance.
· At least five years experience in DoD, Intelligence Community (IC), or Law Enforcement Agency.
· Skill in effectively communicating and maintaining effective relationships with peers and senior officials.
· Proven experience and capability using MS Office Suite.
· Recent experience in delivering course instruction or training
Preferred:
· Working knowledge of DoD and IC organizations and missions, functions, and inter-relationships of the national and DoD structures.
· Knowledge of DOMEX processes, Sensitive Site Exploitation, the National and Operational DOMEX communities, and DOMEX IT systems
Education:
· High School Degree.
Preferred:
· Bachelor's Degree.
