FALLS CHURCH, VA, Feb. 1, 2011 -- ClearedJobs.Net invites you to join us in supporting Operation Jump Start, a program of the Aleethia Foundation. Operation Jump Start helps soldiers from Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom transition to civilian careers.

The group's annual event, Operation Jump Start VII, is Tuesday, February 8, 2011, from 5.30 - 8.30pm at the Army Navy Club in Arlington, VA. The annual event is organized by Federal CIO Council, 1105 Government Information Group and TechAmerica and supported by AFCEA-Bethesda, AFFIRM, ACT-IAC and GITEC.

Donate

Donors are encouraged to donate gift cards and new or nearly new professional business attire to assist wounded warriors as they begin their transition to the civilian work world. ClearedJobs.Net will be donating $500 in gift cards to help those who have served our country. You do not need to be present to donate. Please see the Operation Jump Start Facebook event page for more information.

Donations support two critical phases of a soldier’s transition.

Phase 1: Still in the Hospital, Keeping in Touch, Building up Strength

  • Restaurant gift cards for family meals.

Phase 2: Transitioning to the Work Force, Moving Up and Out

  • Dry-cleaned mens and ladies suits, coats, ties, for office wear as well as formal wear.
